§ 10-91. Authority and purpose.

This article is promulgated pursuant to F.S. ch. 125 and 252. The purpose of this article is to establish a hazardous and technical rescue operations response team in the event of a hazardous materials incident, provide for the method of recovery for the costs associated with the hazardous and technical rescue operations response team to a location where a hazardous materials incident has or is in the process of occurring, and detail the billing of costs incurred by the county to protect the health, safety, and welfare of residents and guests of the county in the event of such an incident.
