§ 13-66. Pledge of tax revenues for convention centers, sports arenas, and similar projects, when authorized.

  • The revenues raised by the tax levied under this article may be pledged by the board of county commissioners to secure and liquidate revenue bonds issued by the county for the acquisition, construction, extension, enlargement, remodeling, repair, improvement, maintenance, operation or promotion of one (1) or more publicly owned and operated convention centers, sports stadiums, sports arenas, coliseums or auditoriums within the boundaries of the county if same should ever be hereinafter established, by appropriate amendment to this article as one (1) of the uses to be made of the tourist development tax hereby levied.
