The intent of the board of county commissioners in adopting this article is to establish
reasonable and uniform regulations for the adult entertainment industry that will
protect the health, safety, property values, economy, and general welfare of the residents,
visitors, businesses and industries of Osceola County, Florida. It is not the intent
of the board of county commissioners to legislate with respect to matters of obscenity.
These matters are regulated by federal and state law, including F.S. ch. 847.
