Article III. OSCEOLA COUNTY BINGO ORDINANCE |
§ 14-47. Legislative intent.
(a)
It is the intent of the board of county commissioners that all phases and aspects of the regulation of bingo be closely controlled and the law pertaining thereto be as rigidly and strictly enforced as practicable, and that the diversion of proceeds from bingo games from the purposes authorized by Section 849.0931, Florida Statutes, be eliminated.
(b)
It is the intent of the board that this article be supplementary to Section 849.0931, Florida Statutes, as it may be amended, and that any conflict be resolved in favor of the statute.
(c)
It is the intent of the board that any violation of Section 849.0931, Florida Statutes, result in the penalties as set forth in Section 849.0931, Florida Statutes, as it may be amended, but not exclusively.
