§ 14-76. Penalties.

  • The county may pursue any enforcement action or legal remedy available under controlling State law and any legal remedy available to the County to include, but not be limited to, a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00), unless otherwise authorized by state law or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding sixty (60) days unless otherwise authorized by state law, or by both such fine and imprisonment. A person who violates this ordinance for a second or subsequent conviction shall be punished by a fine not to exceed one thousand dollars, ($1,000.00) or imprisonment in the county jail not more than twelve (12) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
