§ 16-29. Operation of motor vehicles.

  • (a)

    General prohibition. No automobile, motorcycle, motorscooter, bicycle, or other mode of conveyance shall be driven or parked on any park or recreational center except in those areas specifically designated therefor by signs; provided, however, that the board of county commissioners may from time to time, issue written permission granting special parking privileges, upon application therefor, to persons suffering from active physical disabilities, which permits shall specifically recite on the face thereof, the exact extent of the special privilege and the area or areas to be involved.

    (b)

    Speed limit. It is unlawful to drive or operate any motor vehicle in excess of fifteen (15) miles per hour in any park or designated park or recreation area, unless otherwise posted.
