§ 18-97. Registration requirement.

(a)

Within thirty (30) days of the effective date of this article, each newsrack provider placing a newsrack, outside of an area designated as a modular newsrack district, shall complete a registration form, provided by the county, to ensure that sufficient information is kept on file regarding the individual or legal entity responsible for any and all newsrack(s) placed, by a specific newsrack provider, within the county. Such information shall be kept current at all times. Failure to notify the county of any changes to the information specified on the registration form shall be a violation of this article.

(b)

If the county chooses not to enter into an agreement with a modular newsrack provider, any newsrack provider placing a modular newsrack within an area designated as a modular newsrack district shall register, in the manner set forth above, unless such requirements are changed by the subsequent adoption of a resolution setting forth a permit procedure as specified in subsection 18-94(c) hereof.
