§ 24-63. Imposition of fire rescue impact fees.

(a)

All capital facilities impact construction occurring within the county, both within the unincorporated area and within the municipal boundaries of any municipality that has consented to the imposition of fire rescue impact fees, shall pay the fire rescue impact fee, as established in accordance with this chapter, at the time of issuance of a building permit for such capital facilities impact construction.

(b)

The fire rescue impact fee rates for all capital facilities impact construction occurring within the county, both within the unincorporated area and within the municipal boundaries of any consenting municipality shall be established by a separate resolution of the county.

(c)

Thereafter the fire rescue impact fee rates may be adjusted upon direction from the board, pursuant to the annual indexing procedure set forth in section 24-68 of this Code, or pursuant to the review procedures set forth in section 24-67 of this Code.
