§ 2-13. Authority allowing criminal history record checks.

Notwithstanding F.S. ch. 435, this article is hereby established pursuant to F.S. § 125.5801 (2002) to allow for criminal history record checks. This article is not intended to preempt or prevent any other background screening, including, but not limited to, criminal history record checks, which the county may lawfully undertake.
