§ 2-14. Persons subject to employment screening.

  • The county may require state and national background checks, implemented in a nondiscriminatory manner, for the following classes of people:

    (1)

    Prospective and continued employment screening for any positions, including volunteers, critical to security and/or public safety; and

    (2)

    "Employment" screening for private contractors, employees of private contractors, vendors, repair persons, or delivery persons who have access to any public facility or publicly operated facility that is critical to security or public safety.
