§ 2-16. Employment screening requirements.

  • Employment screening requires each person applying for, or continuing employment in, any such position or having access to any such facility to be fingerprinted pursuant to F.S. § 125.5801, on a hard copy fingerprint card or on an approved live scan device acceptable to both the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The fingerprints shall be submitted to FDLE for a state criminal history record check and to the FBI for a national criminal history record check.
