§ 2-17. Use of information obtained in record check

The information obtained from the criminal history record checks conducted pursuant to this article may be used by the county to determine an applicant's eligibility for employment or appointment and to determine an employee's eligibility for continued employment. The information may also be used to determine a volunteer's eligibility. The information obtained may not be issued to private entities under F.S. § 125.5801, however, a copy may be given to the applicant upon request.
