§ 2-26. Travel expenses.
(a)
The members of the board of county commissioners shall be paid at the same rate per mile for travel to and from the meetings of the board of county commissioners and for travel within the boundaries of the county on county business, in other than county-owned automobiles, at the same rate as provided by state statute for travel expenses, the total not to exceed the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per month, the same to be paid retroactively from July 1, 1980.
(b)
Nothing in this section shall be interpreted or construed to affect the right of any county commissioner to receive travel expense under the provisions of F.S. § 112.061, but shall be construed to provide travel expense within the county in addition to such travel expense as is allowed under F.S. § 112.061.
