§ 2-76. Definitions.
Terms defined in F.S. ch. 252, shall have the same meanings as expressed therein, as the same may be amended from time to time. In addition, the following terms shall have the following meanings unless the context hereof otherwise requires:
Comprehensive emergency management plan means the county emergency plan or its successor, as adopted from time to time by resolution by the board.
County means Osceola County, including both the incorporated and unincorporated areas.
County manager means the county's chief executive officer, or such person's designee.
Emergency means any occurrence or threat thereof, whether accidental, natural or caused by man, in war or peace, which results or may result in substantial injury or harm to the population or substantial damage to or loss of property.
Executive policy group means that group of officials in the emergency operations center designated in the comprehensive emergency management Plan with specific roles and responsibilities as it relates to policy direction during emergencies and programmatic guidance in the nonemergency setting.
Working group means the emergency management working group of representatives selected from partner government and nongovernment organizations and support functions, as designated in the comprehensive emergency management plan.
