§ 5-61. Permit fees.
(a)
The fees to be paid for permits required by the publications adopted in this article shall be as established by resolution.
(b)
Nonresidential farm buildings under ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) construction cost are exempted from the building code as to building permit and fee.
(c)
Any person who fails to obtain a proper permit from the county administrator, prior to start of construction shall be assessed an additional cost of fifty dollars ($50.00), or an amount equal to double the permit fee, whichever is greater, or in the alternative a sum established by resolution. Failure to pay such additional cost shall constitute grounds for revocation of the contractor's license.
