§ 6-8. Governing law; conflicts.

(a)

Except as to matters which are governed by federal law or regulation, a franchise agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state, county ordinances, rules, regulations, and codes.

(b)

If any part, section, subsection or other portion of this chapter conflicts or subsequently comes into conflict with any federal or state law, the prevailing law shall control and apply.
