§ 9-155. Permitting requirements; requirement for domestic wastewater residual land application.

Any person who intends to transport, store or landspread domestic wastewater residual
sludge or septage covered under section 9-152 above in the county shall obtain an annual operating permit for such application
from the HRS public health unit of the county, prior to such landspreading, storage
or transport. Each person, and/or business, each vehicle, each landspread area (in
single ownership and contiguous) and storage facility shall be separately permitted.
A permit issued under this article does not operate as a waiver of all other state,
federal or county regulations, including but not limited to county planning, zoning
and other land use restrictions, full compliance with which shall be attained and
maintained. All permits issued under this article shall be valid for one (1) calendar
year from and after the date of issuance, unless sooner revoked.
