Article VII. ENVIRONMENTAL LAND CONSERVATION PROGRAM |
§ 9-191. Sunset.
The authorization to levy ad valorem taxes to fund the Osceola County Environmental Lands Conservation Program will expire after such taxes have been levied for a period of twenty (20) years, as approved by the referendum held on November 2, 2004 pursuant to Resolution No. 04-055R, unless such the levy of ad valorem taxes is reauthorized by approval of another referendum. Any unexpended funds remaining on the date of expiration shall be transferred to the management sub-fund and used for management of environmentally significant lands acquired under the program.
