§ 13-148. Receipt of fares.

The driver of any taxicab, limousine or other vehicle for hire shall upon demand by the passenger render to such passenger a receipt for the amount charged either by a mechanically printed receipt or by a specifically prepared receipt upon which shall be the name of the owner, license number or motor number of the vehicle, amount of fare or charges, the date of the transaction, and the trip origin and destination.
