§ 13-154. Restriction on number of passengers.

No driver shall permit more persons to be carried in a vehicle for hire as passengers than the rated seating capacity of his vehicle for hire as stated in the license for such vehicle issued by the county. A child in arms shall not be counted as a passenger (such provisions shall not constitute an exemption to the Florida Safety Belt Law, if applicable).
