§ 16-30. Animals.
(a)
Generally. Dogs, cats and other animals are prohibited from and shall not be allowed on or in the confines of any county park or recreational area, except in areas set aside for such animals unless such animals are kept on a leash and under the control of the owner. If the animal is on a leash, then there are no restrictions on such animals being in county parks or recreation areas.
(b)
Catching wild animals. It is unlawful to catch, injure, destroy or interfere in any way with birds, squirrels or any wild animals within any park or recreational area, except poisonous reptiles.
