§ 5-81. Definitions.
The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
Electrical contractor shall mean a person engaging in the business of electrical contracting. The person in charge of the electrical installations for such person shall have qualified as a master electrician according to the provisions of article V of this chapter.
Electrical construction shall include and govern all work and materials used in installing, maintaining and/or extending a system of electrical wiring for light, heat or power and all appurtenances, apparatus, or equipment used in connection therewith, inside or attached to any building or structure, lot or premises.
Electrician shall mean any person who is engaged in the trade or business of electrical construction and who is qualified under the terms and provisions of this article.
Journeyman electrician shall mean a person who is qualified to perform electrical work under the supervision of an electrical contractor and is certified as such under the provisions of article V of this chapter.
Power company shall mean any public utility organization authorized to furnish electrical current for use within the county.
