§ 5-174. Contractors' bond.

Prior to the issuance of a permit to any contractor, such contractor shall file with the county building department a surety bond, payable to the board of county commissioners in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00). Each such bond shall be executed by a surety company licensed to do business in the state, countersigned by a local agent, and shall be conditioned as follows:

;xir; "That the principal therein shall conform to all the laws and regulations of the State of Florida and Osceola County and any damage caused by the principal or his agents to public or private property shall be the responsibility of the principal and not that of Osceola County."
