§ 13-144. Suspension and revocation of vehicle for hire permit.

(a)

A vehicle for hire permit issued under this article may be revoked or suspended, or denied by the county administrator if the holder thereof or applicant therefor has violated any of the provisions of this article or has violated any ordinance of the county or the laws, rules, or regulations of the United States or of the State of Florida, the violation of which is material to the fitness of the holder to offer public transportation.

(b)

Prior to suspension or revocation the holder shall be given notice of the proposed action to be taken and shall have an opportunity to be heard before the board of county commissioners.
